Papillon Dog

The Papillon is a small breed of dog that has very long hair that is thin. They have large ears that cause hair to often flow around the face. Sometimes they are called the Butterfly Dog due to the ears and the face looking like a butterfly shape. They are from 8 to 11 inches tall and the average weight is 7 to 10 pounds.

The Papillon are often known to be nervous and territorial. They don’t do well being left alone. They also bark a great deal to help give the impression that they are able to protect their environment. They tend to listen well and to enjoy affection from their owners.
